Rooster seems off

My rooster is kicking both feet alot when walking and seems to rest quite a bit. He kinda feels skinny and doesn't seem his usual self. I checked his feet over and didn't see and sores. But im wondering if he has something going on with his legs or feet im not seeing? I'll take pics tomorrow when its daylight. But he is a featherd foot chicken, has different looking feet and skin. But it is raised up could it be scaley leg mites? Thanks guys.

I would wash the feathers at the feet too.

Ok I post pics of his feet tomorrow. Whats the best treatment for leg mites, is it Vaseline? Thanks so much for responding. I'm really concerned about him.

Seems like it would work. But I never had this happen before. Also be careful because it can cause disease.

Yeah the mites would poop under his scale that's why they lift up.

Can it cause animia in chickens? Spelling maybe off on that. Seems so different and weak like

If you did yes it can cause anemia. They would not walk much or walk very slowly and very little.
