Rooster walking funny

You didn't mention the size of his roost. maybe it's too small and round where he has to keep balancing himself. I use a 2x4 wide length on top. that way, when cold, he covers all of his feet and sleeps more steady. How high is your roost? It is possible his feet are too cold and it hurts to walk on them. What are you using on the floor and how deep is it?

Hi, thanks for all of the suggestions. We have taken BB out and put her in a crate in bath that isn't used much. Guess we will let her with them during the day and separate her at night for a few days see how that goes.We looked at his feet again and there aren't any sores or scabs or anything unusual. The roost is a 2x4.BB was on it once but that was it. wide side up.There is about 2-3 inches shavings in coop. Husband just checked on him thought he was dead but he went bsck and called him he raised his face up out of the shavings.Must be tired! He is such a sweetie worries over the girls all day. BB is his favorite tho.He was calling her after we took her out tonight when he got in coop. It's a problem,Hopefully when it gets warmer she will stop it!

Ya know you just described the way most animals really act down to the "T" it is
really funny as I have one of by boy's read these to me so I can monoester his
ability to reed aloud and his comment was a lot of these animals act just like
people and I had to agree with him
