Rooster Went Nuts...Brutally Attacked Hen (MORE PHOTOS ADDED)

Pics
I have found that she likes the chick booster vitamin and electrolyte mix it seems to perk her up a bit. I figured since she is not eating she needs some kinda something. Hopefully it will give her enough strength to want to eat.

Since she is a good layer, you could probably rehome her easily. Would it be easier to have the hurt one inside so that you can get her to eat and drink often? Once she is helping herself, she could go back outside in her crate.
So update on little pullet it has been 7 days now and I have resulted to feeding her scrambled raw egg and baby food. She did not eat for the first 5 days had a lot of interest and even pecked so slightly but never got anything in her mouth. I had put chick booster in her water and noticed her drinking a lot. To the point when she put her head down she would spit up a little. So after 5 days and her not showing any sign of giving up, I decided if to try a liquid diet. And she took right to it. Maybe opening her mouth is difficult with the way her skin and muscles whr torn? I don't know but here she is today

Well little bucky is doing better than I had expected. She is now eating crumbles ( as of two days ago ) and energetic enough to scratch around and she even gave her self a dust bath today. I'm really happy for this little pullet. She may look like a turken for the rest of her life lol......as for evil hen I separated her for 3 days, bought 2 other hens that just started laying put them in the same day I took her out. After three days put evil hen back in. She did fighr a little and went after the new barred rock hen with a vengeance but the new hen stood her ground. Now its been 10 days and those ones are getting along great.

Thank u eggcessive for ur great advise on how to handle miss devil. I will be trying to introduce bucky in with the juveniles in another week or so. She actually seems quite content in the hospital pen by her self. But I want to make sure her head is healed enough that it doesn't get pecked back open

Well it has been two months since bucky was scalped and she is thriving. Ugly as all get out and not accepted by anyone she has free run of the back yard for now. I have some five week old chicks I'm hoping to talk her in to believing that is her new flock. She is terrified of all the other chickens and freaks out when anyone approaches her and all her fuss and flapping just makes them chase her. So she gets the back yard for now. I thing her head and neck is all healed as much as its gonna and yes that is she skull back thr. The skin had a long way to travel up the neck and for some reason stopped just short of the top of her skull. It almost feels like thr is a lip at the base of the skull and neck where they meet up that the skin just could not get over. So who knows what will become of her she is doing great we have not been cooler that 104 usually 110 ish. And she has not been fazed by it. Most of the feathers have grown back she just has a tiny bald spot but the feathers are starting to come in thr too. So thr it is folks the scalped chicken running around with an exposed skull
