He was lethargic on Thursday, took him to the vet. They said he had a little bit of mucus in the back of his throat so they sent us home with an oral antibiotic. Quarantined him right away. It's now 4 days later and I notice he's not always opening his right eye but it doesn't appear swollen. Attached are photos of each eye.
Additional info: 7 month old black Australorp. 7lbs. None of our other chickens are exhibiting any of these symptoms. He has been eating and drinking normally. He is 1 of 2 roosters in the flock, and is the dominant rooster. HELP!

Is the blue stuff to treat peck wounds on his comb? Could the others have pecked his eye? He could have a respiratory infection such as mycoplasma that causes sinus infection, and may include conjunctivitis (pinkeye.) What antibiotic are you using? Make sure that he is drinking enough water. Try offering some chopped egg, tuna, or liver in small amount to tempt him to eat. They usually like chicken feed mixed with water in a bowl as well. Was he vaccinated for Mareks disease?

Yes he got pecked but that was just minutes ago, the eye problem started on Thursday with his lethargy. I will google more about what you questioned it could be. We got him from TSC in the spring and I don't believe they vaccinate chicks.
