I think this is a rooster. My husband insists it’s hen because it never crows, it has no spurs, does not mate with hens. It’s about a year and half old. Breed is silver lace Wyandotte

With laced birds in general males have different coloring than females but there are definitely some pointy saddles on this one as well.@black_cat can you help with this one? i think it might be a rooster, the roosters i have had NEVER crowed i think i see some saddle feathers
Thank you. I noticed the saddle feathers. Also the tail is long and colorful, not short like my girls. And neck feathers are more pointy than roundedDefinitely a boy. Saddle feathers and male coloring.

Yep to all of those! With laced birds in general, females will be laced all over, and males will have almost solid color hackle and saddle feathers with usually poorer lacing than females, so that is another way to tell.Thank you.
