Rooster's severely infected shanks! What should I do?

The vet could probably just give antibiotics and it wont cost too much. Just do the bumble treatment on him. Soak leg/foot in water with epsom salts(20 min) and clean leg/foot once or twice a day. Put antibiotic ointment on it and wrap it with vet wap. (editted out cant prescribe medication as I am not a doctor)

Keep washing and soaking and wrapping.

I have seen his legs and have thought if it was scaly leg mites, but I didn't know what to diagnose for. I was oblivious to his condition. I am going to do that today when I get back from school at 2 in the afternoon.
Thanks you.

I'm sorry! I haven't written on the forum because my internet router was reinstalled into another place.
I'll definitely be on today in the afternoon.

I still don't know kids name, he PM'ed me back. Asked parents for help, has to wait 'til after Friday, but rooster is going to the vet on Saturday!! I told him if the bill gets out of hand, we are still willing to help him. He is grateful, and will keep us informed.
Thanks to all!, Roberta

As of right now, I'm waiting for my parents to determine if there is money for this week. I'm still looking forward to taking him this Saturday as soon as I have the money available.
I will be posting more pictures of Denice's feet and body once my camera is charged, so I will be back on shortly.

Here is a picture of Denice and his girlfriend Sequoia from last winter.

Lisa, is there a way you two can get together and discuss which vet/office/whomever he needs to see to get the rooster looked at at a fair price?
Thanks, Roberta
