Rope lights in chicken coop work great!!!

Our chicken run and duplex coop...aka Nancy's Nest with the rope lighting. this was at 8am and it turns on at 5am, gor now,then turns off at 8:30am. This works ggreat. rope is thick and lights stay cool to the touch hut bright enough to light the run and wake them up to keep egg production up.

Thank you. Will switch to turning on earlier in the morning and let them go to sleep at natural sunset.

If you have a rooster, that comes with it's own set of problems.....yep, if the girls are awake at 5:00 am, so is he!

Vwe are not permitted roosters in town. BUt we are less than 1/4 mile from town line and local farm has them and we can hear him
