AND GUYS NO, BIG NO NO, in my experience with any black rosecomb never ever pull out feathers, they come back in WHITE TIPPED, much better if you let them moult, plus pulling feathers on these guys seems to cause damage over time, twisted feathers and messed up shafts that won't come off when new, and feathers that flop from too much pulling, my first boy had all of this, still getting better from multiple mults, not to mention white tipped can knock you way down in judging and if its an in. or more your d.q.-you can force them to molt by less light hours or more light hours, opposite of what you are now, but please don't pull feathers on rosecombs, they are a very sensitive breed that takes a lot of work and patience, and you thought dry feathers was bad!
