What breed would be the best to breed into RC's to get the Lavender Color.

Matt, I would say oegb would be your best bet. If dutch or leghorn came in lavender, they would work better.

D'anvers have muffs. so, no. That gene could pop up generations later

I think Lavender OEGB's are the way to go.

here's some updates

a young pullet to the right with some older girls on the left. I have a few girls from kat Plummer.. I think she's one of them

a wheaten roo with a splash wheaten hen (will throw all blue wheaten)

see this pullets top tail feather? It's kind of curved resembling a sickle feather. That is said to give her cockerel offspring a nice, arched tail
