Ok, I have a question. I bought these mixed I think rosecomb bantams on a whim the other day because they were mottled. I looked at the Rosecomb Federation site looking for Mottled Rosecombs awhile ago, and it seemed no one had them. So when I saw these for sale I jumped at the chance even though they were mixed possibly. The only reason I say possibly is that a couple of them have feather stubs on their legs. They look like low grade rosecombs to me minus the stubs. Anyway, I wanted to know where I could get some nice quality Rosecomb bantams blue or black so that I can cross them with these mottled ones so I could have my own strain of mottled rosecombs in a couple of generations. I say a couple generations because that is how long it will take to just introduce the mottled gene. I know these are an established variety already but it seems no one really has them.
