I have some rosecombs for sale if anyone on this rosecomb thread would be interested. There is one Black Rooster and 4 Black Hens plus the three chicks the one hen hatched. I am asking $125 for all of them. I would like them to go together, and I would rather pick up.

Thinking about breeding this mottled serama hen to my black rosecomb rooster. would the offspring be black or would there be a chance of getting the mottled coloring in the first generation?
First of all, silkielover.. your roo is fantastic. I dunno what's going on with the white circle around his eye .. maybe he's older. But, IF HE IS older and still has a tail like that, he's def super nice. I am also a softy of a full, well curved comb like your boy has. His feathers are thick and his sickle feathers have perfect arc. If you cannot tell, Im kind of in love with him. Don't breed him to a serama LOL Don't do it! You may get mottled birds but, they will be mutts. I know a few rosecomb breeders who have mottleds. If you're serious about breeding them, please pm me and I will help you find some. It may cost a bit more with birds and shipping but, you would be rewarded with a much nicer outcome
Haha thanks! He is about 2 years old but hes always had the white around his eyes and he hasn't seem to pass it to his offspring. The serama was an idea I noticed she was the same size as my rosecomb hens and it got me thinking
