Hi English chick, is it true people are stealing chickens on the mainland?

I had never heard of that before but I suppose there are always some rottern people willing to make money any way they can. how sad now I have to think about keeping mine safe from two legged preditors as well.

The more I hear the more I'm thinking Hencam... how much fun would it be to see them on tv! I could feed my addiction even when I am supposed to be inside working. I would love to spy on my girls and see what they get up to when I am not watching.

Buff Orps go for about $2 a chick around our area. An adult hen may go for $10 to $20. They are more on the common side, and are probably only proceeded by RIR's and Barred Rocks.

They are lovely birds, but as said above, very common here and just not expensive.
