Rude Behavior, I'm Perplexed

I wish I could teach people ground manners like horses. There's a few i'd like to whap with a leadrope for barging into me.

They actually did a report on the demise of manners on Good Morning America this past week.
So this thread has put this little scenario in my head: I'd like to have a t'shirt made with big block letters that says, "Manner Police". I'd have a police light and siren strapped to my head and a ticket book. Walking through Walmart, I'd "pull over" any offenders that I'd witnessed and write them a ticket for rudeness, thereby publically embarrassing the crap out of them.

You think that'd hit the news? Then we can put them all in manner rehab.

In many societies, waiting your turn or not trying to push to the front are considered strange behavior. I'm not a sociologist or anything lke that, but my thought is that if the resources are limited, unless you push and shove your way to the front, you are going to do without. You don't give anyone a chance to beat you out for the limited resources.

It's a biker wave .. might have been started as a "Harley Wave" .. but I don't ride a HD and I get and give all the waves ..

Now .. I DO ride a cruiser .. I notice that cr*tch rocket riders rarely get or give waves .. ??

Neat about the Jeep thing .. but makes sense.

Also .. PU trucks down here .. of course that makes up 90% of the vehicles .. but we all wave to each other ..

Maybe because they're too busy hanging on for dear life....

DH's family lives in a close community. Everyone knows everyone even if they aren't related. Alot grew up together in that neighborhood... he fusses at me when we pass someone because I don't wave. Most of the time I just plain do not see the other person wave first. I am watching where I am driving, not looking into oncoming vehicles
