It's just too bad that there are so many inconsiderate people out there. They just think "What about me" not "What can I do to make things better for everyone".
My SO likes to hunt turkeys, but doesn't like the taste of wild turkey. So we freeze one (his sister and I love wild turkey meat) and then give any others he shoots to other people. I can always make dog food, as a last resort.
I gladly accept venison and wild boar from hunting friends. Actually I will bribe them for it...

In a lot of states if you want to keep people out you are required to post signs every couple of hundred feet along the perimeter of your property, keep them legible, and sign and date them yearly. Without these signs you have no legal defense against a trespasser. An ethical hunter would always ask permission though.

I tanned a deer tail before came out pretty cool ! But what a waste.

Found out from a neighbor that deer tail fur is used for fly fishing??

We hauled the carcass out into a large field and are letting natures clean up crew - buzzards! - do their job. It made me so angry not to get that meat! Dang I hate waste and I hate paying for store bought meat! But, at least some one is getting fed.

I apologized to the deer for the disrespect it was shown.
