Rufus the rooster not feeling well at all

Yes, drench is undiluted right from the bottle. Give it like this.

Rufus is very weak today, can't really get up to walk around, very unsteady on his feet. I'm not sure he will make it. But there is now Corid in the waterers and he has had 1 drench dose so far.

Syringe some sugar water into him to perk him up. One teaspoon sugar to one cup water. Give him some every hour all day. It will raise his glucose and he should act more like himself. Leave a container of it so he can help himself to it in between getting it syringed into him.

Ok, he has had a syringe of sugar water and is now inside with me. I wanted him outside with everyone he loves and loves him, but it's muggy and hot out there today, not sure that is helping. If he perks up, I'll put him back out there. Right now, he won't even stand.

How much sugar water did he take? Try to get a fourth of a cup into him. Judge the size of his crop and fill it. He's probably dehydrated and also a bit heat sick. Try placing cool damp compresses under his wing pits even if he's inside where it's cooler.
I have given him a full syringe every hour for 3 hours now. He also has a bowl in front of him that looks like he has been drinking some (water is not as clear, like he's had his beak in it) He seems a little perkier to me, very, very little improvement though. His crop feels completely empty to me. I will put some cool compresses under his wings now.

Not very many chickens, even ones not feeling well, can resist an egg. They will gobble it raw, soft boiled hard boiled scrambled and poached. Or mixed into boiled rice. It will jump start his appetite.
Gave him a scrambled egg. He ignored it at first but then I turned on the coffee grinder and he perked up and is now trying to eat some. Gosh I hope he gets a good amount down.
