My drakes go in and look at eggs even move them around almost like he is saying hey who's going to sit on these? Never had one go broody though. lol

Maybe after the calcium in the shell. I saw one of my Runners drop her egg on the patio and it broke before i could even get up off the chair one of the others had snatched up the shell and took off with it gobbled it right down. So most likely that happened with your too. They didn't get to the contents the chickens wouldn't let them.Guess what i have a question. Surprised?i just let my ducks out and one of my girls was coverd in yoke. I dug up all the eggs. No egg or shell to be found broke. So she ate the hole thing. Can you tell me why she did this?

@Iain Utah shipped full grown geese all over the USA a few years ago. She could probably give ya some advise. This is the best time of year to ship being it's so cool now.He is handsome. i have many female ducks you can have. I live in Idaho.
