Runner duck not laying yet

The drakes does get up there but he chases rarely and mates only once a day he often stands watch as she lays there or sits next to her. And we have put in a golf ball to their normal house.

I have heard although he does wonna kill our little bantam rooster. We have separated the ducks into a smaller house and roaming space from the chickens. Are your ducks laying? (If you have any)

I have 13 female ducks so far in one day 9 eggs but most just started back laying about 2-3 weeks ago. Usually it’s 4-5 eggs a day.

Very lucky we have one Drake one hen for ducks and 4 chicken hens 3 hybrids one bantam and one rooster we get roughly 1 sometimes 2 eggs a day all the hybrids have layed before however the bantam and the duck haven't laid any

Well I can def. vouch for when she starts you’ll forget having to wait for her to start. She’ll probably lay straight for 18 months my 2016 yr Runners did. You have 5 ducks 2 are Pekin? What the other 2?besides the Runner.
All your help has worked first duck egg! It's tiny and soft shelled but none the less an egg. Thanks for the help!

It is indeed and now we have been told by previous owner she is part Rouen!
