Hi guys! Just wanted to update you! Bent neck ducky is still alive and kicking. She loves being held and cuddles. Her neck is STILL crooked. I've been googling ways to make a brace for her but scared I'll end up choking her to death shes keeping up with the others and doing great though! You can see how its bent on the left! The pekin is in there because her legs don't do well during the winter. As much niacin as I give her this is the third year, her legs just give out and get better when shes warmed up! So mama minnie is at it again taking care of our mini flock!

Bless her heart. I really don’t think it would be a good idea to try and brace her neck at this time in her life. As long as she’s able to eat and keep up and is enjoying life that’s what’s important. How old are they now?

1 month 11 days! Acts like a normal duckling except I can tell it gets sore so she loves when I hold her and she can rest her head on my shoulder. We held her for two weeks straight so shes really attached to us

So sweet, maybe some massaging of her neck would feel good? I saw TSC carries an Epsom salt gel now I’m going to pick some up next time I’m down that way to have on hand maybe try some on her neck just to help with soreness.
