My week old Runners sleep on top of their heat plate rarely under it I took the plastic dome off. Your babies are adorable

I think I will do that (any suggestions welcome) They will be sleeping in there new pen tonight at the office in the warehouse. With people tromping in and out of my home right now because it is for sale I felt they would be safer there. Its so different having a hatched baby they bond very quickly to you. It took me many weeks to get there parents to fully trust me, they were from chic days at the hardware.
I did do everything backwards hatching these eggs so I have 3 more due to hatch in the next week. (then one more the week after. The seven shipped eggs of blacks only one egg was viable. 6 had broken air sacks.)

I am amazed at the difference between my Runners who were hatched by my Muscovy’s in 2016 and these that have been inside with me since they hatched.
