@Texag87 have you told Bandit he's a new dad? These babies can high jump. Flat footed over the top of the brooder. New brooder going in tomorrow. There's a world of difference between hatch your own and getting day olds.

Bandit replied waaap waaap waaap where’s my cigars? Waaap waaap waaap. I agree about self hatch. It was much easier to get Muttlings I to eat treats out of our hands than our Fall brood. George and Bandit being the exceptions.

Honestly, when I was researching ducks last year, I said to myself when I saw Runners” Who would want to have those strange looking creatures .” Thanks to TSC duckling roulette, I wound up with one of those strange creatures. We love each duck because each is unique , but the runner is special.

Keep it going the babys are so cute and the parents to die for, you have all kept me going through this crazy! rewarding! hatch of mine! Runners are the best pet you could ask for. Ok really love my 2 senor dogs who also love the ducks.
PS Drakezilla (Mocha 4 months a year) got to meet the baby's yesterday he made beautiful low tone raspy talking noises to both of them. Tilted his head and clanked his bill it was about 10 min of encouragement for the new hatch-lings. These guys are so smart!

Thanks! He’s the most easily held duck. When someone wants to touch a duck, I use him. I was showing him to my neighbors three year old daughter. I was telling her to touch his front, but she was obsessed with his rubbery orange feet!
