Oh my gosh! Looks like you got some EEs in there! Lucky! I love their beards! Sometimes even if they say males you can get females. All my non production packing peanuts appeared to be st run. One time I only got one boy out of the bunch :-D

Edited to add: feathered feet too! Really, since you didn't get the classic red packing peanuts it looks like you have some awesome chicks there

I hope some of the ones with feathered feet end up being girls. I would hate to have to get rid of them all since the wife absolutely does not want any roosters. I don't have any feather footed girls in my flock yet so they would be a nice addition.

Here are some updated pics of my Orloff babies. They are almost 6 weeks old now and I am getting them ready to make the move outside this week. It is hilarious to watch them run around the yard exploring.

I just had two lil chicks hatch but there colors are different...can anyone help..i'll get pics tomorrow to show you...but one is chipmunky and the other is more golden...what is the color for the chicks... the pics are misleading..seeing how i don't know what they're supposed to look like..

russian orloffs are very popular as table birds, very heavy and firm fleshed for roosters. maybe you can rehome them or sell at the flea market.
tell your wife that they make great chicken noodle soup. the problem with ideal is that they say yhou only need $25 for the order but they don't tell you about the packing peanuts.
