Russian Orloffs

OK! They have told me that a mistake was done. I actually have 3 speckled sussex and no Russian Orloffs!!!

They are reshipping my order to me hopefully this week but most likely next week. Hopefully this goes much better

I took a couple pics....maybe they will be of use to someone else (or even you for next time).

Not sure of gender but the first pic is of one that's about 2 weeks, the other two are of one that's about a week or so.

Thanks for the pictures! I see NO spikes! I will definitely use them when I get my new babies next week. It looks like yours are cheeky and look more like the coloring of a RIR than a chipmunk. Taking notes

I thought the muffs would be present like the EE muffs are at birth. If #1 is an Orloff wouldn't #2 be one too because they have both feathered out the same exact way? #2 also has the white feather on her wings, you just can't see them. Their wing feathers came in the same way at the same time, their tail feathers came in exactly the same too. They both have the same spotted markings on their backs (top of wings). They both also have single combs as well. - With seeing the last pictures I sent, the hatchery has said that they made a mistake and that they shipped out 3 sussex instead of Orloffs. They are taking full responsibility and will be re-shipping my orloffs hopefully this week but most likely, next week. I just am so happy that they are doing this!

I'd like to apologize for my previous rant in regards to Dawn's problem. I probably could've/should've worded my feelings a little less harsh.

I am very passionate about my Orloffs and just find it very frustrating when places such as hatcheries, who are in business to provide a service, don't LISTEN to their customers. But I guess with the world as mean as it is these days, they probably get a fair share of untruthful customers. But still...with Dawn contacting them as much as she did, they still should've looked into the matter a little sooner.

Glad your babies are coming, Dawn. You're going to love them!!!!

Well, my babies arrived Friday and are doing well. We have 4 definite Orloffs and one mystery chick...much darker than the others, smaller, feathering out more slowly, no cheeks. Who knows what it is, but I don't mind!

There were nine Orloffs ordered all together. Another local BYCer and I split the order. This photo is before she picked hers up.
