Well we are up to 12/13 hatched under shadows with the remaining egg pipped.
Pics of babies and the 3 week old's in their favorite spots. some reasonable pics of some of them.

Last chick still not out of egg but still breathing. 3 out of nest and dead over night.

Been A while since i last had time to get in and do an update, had a few changes to our flock. Will upload some pics then do summary in next post.

Well i think I'm finally typing my long overdue update.
4Th October Sebastian Died - broke he neck on the coop door.
Began work on larger coop space
24 Oct Mullet looking sick. Brought inside to try and get fluids into her.
28 Oct Mullet died. Dorky started Crowing.
1 Nov - local Auction. went along to see what was in the local area.
ended up buying -
1 White silkie - very poor condition.
1 Frizzle X Silkie Rooster
5 Straight Run Silkie X frizzle chicks - looks like their about 3 weeks old.

Also got given 2 free Silkie Roosters.
Got 1 egg already, but I'm fairly sure its from one the the free roosters - If so they got their sexing wrong.
Culling out all the roosters except the Frizzle i brought and the one i think might be a hen.

will Try to get some good flock pics over the next few days.

The black silkie feathered one is hatched 1st August, the rest are the first week in september. The silkie feathered cockerel is starting to crow already and the other boy is trying to mount the girls.
