today, was quiet. inside our house and outside with the rest of the chickens/ducks. its been raining most of today.
I cried a bit today (alone, kids were napping) kinda wish i had named all my chickens, faces and names etc. but i never got around to doing it. i dunno. i retrieved todays eggs. 4 and placed them on the counter.
my husband came home from work and said something that brighten the rest of my day "why dont you incubate those eggs" "it would be so cute to see baby chicks and i know the chickens we currently have would make wonderful mothers"
sweet huh? i sure thought so.
i still have those eggs on the counter.
i have a brand new incubator that i bought last year. never used.
its amazing how we love our animals. i sure love mine
