Saddled air cells

Just wondering what people do with saddled air cells from day 18 and on? I have some shipped eggs with saddled air cells. Some say to lay on the side with the lowest side pointing up. I’ve also read that some will try and hatch broken air cell eggs vertically in a cut down egg carton at lockdown. I’m wondering how true this is? I may have some broken air cells also. Any opinions?

Some say to lay on the side with the lowest side pointing up.

This would be my choice for saddles.

I’ve also read that some will try and hatch broken air cell eggs vertically in a cut down egg carton at lockdown.

This would be my choice for rolling cells. But you have to look out for pips at the bottom half as it sometimes happens.
