Sally's GF3 thread

Huntington Home is the brand. 100% PEVA. Made in China, of course.:hmm
It's the peva that I got, was very happy with the quality even if it is made in China.

FYI: I read recently that there's been a lot of mislabeling of items that were manufactured in China but marked as coming from elsewhere. Tsk, tsk.

Caveat emptor.

Sally,, This is your image from the other thread. You already got answers there,, so,,,,,, I figured I answer here. :old I would peel the skin using a sharp knife to start the peel. I do that when I peel the outer skin off an onion also.
Your other option,,, and an easy one,, Cut clove in half. Then it is easy to catch the outer thin skin on the edge of cut.

I. Like. Yellow. Beets! And the greens! I was pretty sure I'd like the greens in with my fried rice.

Beets remind me of the last little bit of corn on the cob, the little nubbins that are left after you bite off the main part of the kernel.

Hubby said, yeah, he'd eat them too.:thThey will be planted in my garden this coming spring/summer.

Beets seem like a really efficient use of garden space. Snip a few greens from several plants, and then you have the beet to harvest later.

Carrot tops are edible too. I've tried munching a leaf... eh, not a fan. So I snip them up and give them to the chickens.
My flock goes crazy over carrot tops, strip them to the thick stalks.

Congratulations! Even if it was the Huskies they beat!
Thank you!

Hubby is a big (NFL) football fan. He says he'd rather his team NOT go to the SuperBowl at all, than go and lose. I do not see it like that.

A silver medal at the Olympics? Heck yeah! I'd take that. Would I rather have gold? Of course! But a silver medal is NOTHING to be ashamed of.

I want to add: GETTING to the Olympics is quite an achievement in and of itself!

People on that level of competition may, and probably do, feel differently. I still think they have much to feel proud of.
