Salt & Pepper Shakers - Which One With Bigger Holes

The salt goes in the one with the small holes. Salt is fine grained and comes out easier.

The pepper goes in the one with the big holes. Pepper is course and tends to stick together so you need larger holes to get it to come out.

We use a grinder for the pepper, so yes this is a moot point... but as anybody knows, that doesn't stop me from opening up a discussion!

My father-in-law has a cool battery powered pepper grinder. I gotta get me one of those.
