I have to admit that i dropped the ball on salted duck eggs.

My wife doesn't like them, she says they're too salty and taste different than eggs (is that not the intention of making salted eggs?)
But the toughest blow against producing home-made salted duck eggs came from the Asian Supermarket: They sell ½ dozen salted duck eggs from China for just $8. it would be hard to compete with them and the store owner is only willing to pay me $4 per ½ dozen.
I sure will make some salted eggs for myself from time to time , but it is not a business idea for now…
