San Diego Chicken meetup and Chat thread

Does anyone have any true araucana fertile eggs? I am thinking of buying some online?
If you can try to get them locally and pick them up yourself. They dont have an incredibly good hatch rate to begin with. Add in Shipping and you reduce your chances more.

There used to be breeders here in San Diego I have seen them on Craigslist but dont know who they are.... Good luck....

I've got FOUR broodies right now, and three of them are just nasty things.

Our BYC group has been invited to set up a booth at the next Wild West Serama Club show this coming May/June (date to be determined soon). I'll set up a pop up and a couple of tables for our group.
It's okay to sell your items, however, I'm asking that if you do you kindly offer to donate something to WWSC's silent auction to help pay for the venue. There'll be more information as it becomes available.
We did this the past couple of years and it's been fun. Some of our BYC'ers showed birds too.

I know some of you won't be able to wait that long...LOL...so how about a get together either the last weekend of Feb or the first weekend of March? It'll spread the two meet ups out a bit and the weather ought to be more reliable. Collier Park in Ramona is my pick, we're always treated so well there and the birds get to come out of their cages. Or if someone wants to host at their house that's always fun too.

Let me know what ya'll think.
