I love roos.... They crack me up.... cant take any poultry at this time. Got something going that has to finish before I can rebuild my coop.

They are funny. That's why I told her I'd try and help. This one looks to have an exceptional personality but I can't take him either. The rest of the flock doesn't care to have interaction with people but this one comes up for attention. His older brother from last year is handsome too and excellent with his hens. We want to make sure he isn't dinner or end up in a ring somewhere. Knew this was the place to come for guidance.

Hes the wrong breed for being in a ring. Game cocks are waaaayy different.

We are having a meetup sometime in February I believe..... Keep looking because we gather together have a potluck swap stories sell birds, eggs, and stuff like soaps jams and cheese.... Sometimes if Chef Glen comes he brings Coffee that he roasts him self.

welcome again....

So for the first time in a long time I don't have an over abundance of roosters but hens lol So I have some girls that just started laying that I'm trying to sell. I have heritage road island red, a silver penciled rock, a buff cochin, a blue laced red Wyandotte, 2 splash marans and maybe some more that I can't think of right now

I also have some older girls that are about 1 1/2 to 2 years old still laying. I've got some hatching eggs coming in soon so I need to make some space lol you know how it is

Too many roos and not enough takers is always a problem. I hate to see the nice ones eaten and try to find them homes. Personalities change though when the hormones kick in. It's somewhat easier to send a mean roo to freezer camp than a nice one.

Hi everyone, i know you don't see me much here anymore, but i still love ya. I would actually like to offer to host at my place in descanso(alpine). It would be so nice seeing everyone and what better way to break in the new ranch! Allison, i would need your help though!
