San Diego Chicken meetup and Chat thread

Hi everyone,
I can't believe how far this group has come! (Those who don't know me, I was the OP years ago!) Who knew we would all come this far?  I just want you all to know how much I really miss you all. I'm currently in AZ, (long story)... I haven't seen any of you for nearly 2 yrs now and wish I had been able to, now I will be heading to VA probably in the next month or two, and so I may not get to see any of you again. It has been a sad and hard time for me, long story short my HB became mentally ill when last you saw me and my life was turned completely upside down, I was forced to run and hide with the kids, and drop my life in San Diego as if it never existed. After a lot of heartache, stress and trauma, I think for us both- he gave up on life and passed away in November. I have lugged my chickens and birds around quite a bit and though it was so hard, I am so thankful I did. My pets and kids were what I needed to get through. Now that that part is over, I am realizing how much I miss my friends and this group. You all helped so much without even knowing when I was living through difficult times. So please keep in touch and Thank you all my BYC friends. Love you guys.

I'm so glad to hear your all safe! I too had to "run from crazy" and start life over again, no forwarding address. My family now has first right of refusal for all new friends in my life, my pickers broken. I hope your next move finds you all the strength, peace, and joy life has to offer.

Anyone know where I can find the sale/wanted meetup list?
I'm bringing 5-6wk old Muscovy ducklings x10 and chicks, fertile khaki Campbell eggs. Just enough to pay the gas bill. Lol
Looking for Talouse Goslings, red worms, freedom ranger meat bird chicks, turkey poults, & any unusual chicken breeds.

Yes, we do We unfortunately have had a change of plans and will not be able to go to the meet up sadly. Long story, but we have show horses and were contacted by a German TV show wanting to film at our ranch on the 28th and my son's birthday party is the 29th, so I'll have to miss this one ;(.

Does anyone in or around North County have hatching eggs for sale? I have some broody hens and I am considering giving them what they want. Either that or I have to break up the party.
