San Diego Chicken meetup and Chat thread

OK People when are we thinking about our next met up, I know we have been hitting it pretty hard but for those who can can we think about 03-20 or 03-27??? I think the meet ups have been fun. We can all meet up at my friends house in san pasqual, she is 20 acres and we are welcome there!!! No permits, no nada, just chicken people some horses and cattle! Tammy what do you think???

About thirty years or more ago my mom got a shipping crate and made a little shelter for the pony out of it. That thing still stands today!!

I'm good for almost any weekend in April, except for the 30th: my son will be having his Eagle Court of Honor that day!

Meeting up in San Pasqual sounds terrific if Cara's friend is willing to host us.

I'm taking a bunch of eggs with me today to give as gifts to a few friends. I'm proud of my girls!

This is 60 eggs, and it didn't come close to cleaning me out.

I can do almost anytime, except when I have school. Here are our dates we have off...

Holidays

February 18-19: Lincoln Day

February 21: Washington Day

April 18-22: Spring Break

May 30: Memorial Day​

How about Saturday April 2nd? Gives us a bit more time to plan, and we have time to hatch chicks before if we want to!

I couldn't make it early to set up or stay late to clean up if it will be in San Pasqual.
It will be around an hours drive for me so someone else will have to take over that duty if we do it there. I'm ok with it if y'all choose there though.

Permits no big deal either - if you guys would like Lake Murray again, it's already done so they can just set another date.
I can help set up whatever place if there are any other suggestions...

I have no problem going wherever you all decide, just if it's far I won't be able to help as much. I'm always still there at least an hour afterwards, cleaning up and then packing myself up. I'll have to leave earlier if it's in North County somewhere and the job will be left for the last person(s) there I guess.

I don't think Apr 2nd is on one of my days off. I COULD do April 23rd I think. I got those dates off the school website so I will have to check and see what Saturdays I get off.
