Yes Ameraucanas go broody A LOT... as a matter of fact I have SEVEN broody AM's right now. Count 'em SEVEN.![]()
LOL.... I am on the Broody thread and there is one fellow that has Sumatras and he says he had Thirteen broodies last year. Mine aren't Ameraucanas though they are Araucanas.... doesn't matter I want chickens that replenish themselves. Just because its such a hard life up there... I can keep a small portion of my flock protected but eventually I will have to let them free range for their own health.
