San Diego Chicken meetup and Chat thread

I KNOW your pain. I had one blow in my window while driving home one afternoon, went down the back of my shirt. I pulled over thinking I was being stung by a swarm of wasps. My husband, in the car ahead of me, came back to see what was going on. I'm screaming and he's wondering what the heck is going on. I finally make it known that I'm being attacked by something....he only finds one little ant! Later that day my back continues to burn. I check it out and I have a dozen or so bites all over. It's like the sucker just kept chowing down on me!! They hurt!!

Ouch!!!

I am totally itching all over now, for no apparent reason.

I swear the "non-drowsy" meds knock me out faster than Mike Tyson would. I'm glad your daughter ran with the "self-sufficiency" mode and was able to fend for herself... she's ready for college!

I hope the thighs are much less itchy and painful now.

Anyone interested in Bearded D'Anver chicks? Our little hen hatched out 8 eggs. She and the daddy are Blue Quail and I think 4 of the chicks will be the same. 2 should be black (or a dark color) and 2 possible buffs. Only a couple weeks old so gender is unknown, yet.

Bwhaahahahaha........
