If you take the truck you can get approximately 22 bales on the back if you have a one ton. The more you buy the better the final price will be. (calculating in for fuel costs) But if you have a trailer of some sort like a flatbed or car hauler those can hold a bunch of hay. Alfalfa usually runs about 125 lbs a bale Bermuda 110.
The best deal would be to get a big load and split it between a few people.
He also sells bagged feed like alfalfa and goat chow and COB. The usual feed store fare. So its a decent one stop shopping spot.... But the hay he has is hay he grows. I think he has a couple of sections.
