That is so depressing... dang incubators. Seems like they ought to have some kind of fail safe where the temp cannot rise over 105 or something like that.

Yea you would think so. Some sort of smart programming that basically sets the max high. I guess that's what I get for purchasing an inexpensive $50 incubator? *sigh* Still hard to swallow that all those chicks died. It just feels horrible. I had just candled them the day before the incident too and they were so alive and squirmy.....

Sometimes my white leghorn lays eggs that are so big i think she is gonna die poor thing, they are way bigger than the duck eggs

I was surprised on how tiny her egg is. Here is a picture of her egg compare to my silkie's one (silkie is the one on the right)
