. I would go back and delete my most recent posts of I could. You'll have to PM me because I'm unsubscribing to this thread. Don't know if I will ever post on it or look at it again.
I am sorry for not being able to help you either, but I have no experience in ducks. Please don't be upset

we have ducks but it doesnt look like anything Ive seen before except she dosent look good.It is so hard to see what is going on with her.maybe egg bound but you would never know unless you pick her up,maybe she has a bad case of bugs, then again you dont know.she looks down for sure.maybe it is a classic sign of something but nothing im aware of.

I think she got upset that no one answered her duck question. But I don't know much about ducks.

I don't have ducks but I do browse the duck section from time to time (she'd probably have better results posting it there) and I hear crested ducks have all sorts of neurological issues. She could just have the typical problems of a crested duck.

Does anyone know why a female crested Pekin would stand with this posture?

She's also lethargic and sleepy, but seems to be able to move well. I even saw her stretch up and flap her wings a couple of times. Her tail is raised up so high and her wings are droopy. When she first arrived at Lake Murray, I thought I saw her have a seizure, though I can't remember what made me think that's what it was. She hasn't had any problem since.

Also, what's up with this bird's chest? She's always had a sort of split in it, but this is way worse than before.

Whenever I approach her and she gets nervous, all her duck friends, especially the female ducks, begin surrounding her.

I don't know what's up with her chest or why she's lethargic, but the wing issue is called "angel wing" in ducks, it's due to lack of (or wrong) nutrition and/or not enough room to flap her wings when they are babies.

I know less than zero about ducks, but I always enjoy the waterfowl photos...

Merry Christmas, everyone! San Diego has the best chicken peeps around.
