My daughter and I got to visit the baby goats, and they are adorable.

When Stewie was born, Mrs Oz took a special trip out to the beach house/chicken ranch just so the kids (and Mrs Oz) could see him. There is something special about babies of any species.

I started seeing contractions at 11 am, by 2 pm they were both born and done.

. So How soon after they deliver do you breed back. With horses you can breed back as soon as the first foal heat which is approximately ten days give or take. I know herd animals are very similar in some of these ways. Horses gestate approximately a year so how long do goats gestate. I am guessing about half that time.
