Hello everybody!
Quick post to see if anybody might be interested:
These are all pullets just about at POL- their combs are growing, not yet red.. somebody had been laying a couple eggs already but don't know who.
1 splash BLR wyandotte
1 from olive egg breeding- can't remember right now, either first generation or second generation back to Wheaten Marans. She is dark buff with black in tail. Has pea comb.
1 red turken, was an impulse feed store day old chick buy...
Large bowtie.
I can let one black pure NN pullet to go with above.. sort of want to keep her but can let her go as group. She has a 50% chance of laying green/blue eggs.
Also have a black turken cockerel in this group, but figure nobody wants a roo.... he's available though!
Let me know if you're interested in any birds asap, will not bring any birds to meet unless someone wants them.
I also have some young(not yet flowering size, perhaps in a year or 2) Amaryllis belladonna hybrids, those are not Hippeastrums. Potential flower colors are white, red, orangish, some pinks, which should still be different from wild type with more open flowers, face all directions etc.
Anybody have pomegranates besides Wonderful? I'm also interested in various summer dormant/winter growing bulbs and aloes(besides vera), especially bush or tree aloes & succulents..
BTW as for bananas- they have amazing recovery powers. As long as part of the corm is still alive, there is a chance. Keep the corm/roots on dryish side until you see growth then water regularly. My father has Rajapuri, Ice Cream, a plantain type(possibly Orinoco? it is unidentified though), dwarf Cavendish and one more I can't remember name of right now... Can't get any in time for tomorrow's meet but could bring some for a future meet...
