You can email the Jamul 4H group. There is a meeting coming up in the first week of September so I'm sure if you contact a leader they can ask kids then.

Jenn

Thanks!
Do you have their email address?

I'll forward what I got to you. Not sure who it was from specifically. I contacted them because I'm interested in joining w/my son so I'm going to check out a meeting.

Hey everyone! i copied this from the other thred but WE saN DIEGO chiCKEN need to WAKE UP and sign this or will will loose it, please lets not rely on others, please wright letters have your kids make letters and send them in!!!

So I met with a few lawyers, a lobbyist, some other hobby breeders and I think we have a pretty good game plan. We REALLY need letters from each and every one of you who lives in San Diego County and are against the ordinance. PLEASE DO NOT SEND THE LETTERS TO THE SUPERVISORS BUT TO ME DIRECTLY!

We need you to state in the letter why you're against the ordinance, what chickens/roosters mean to you/your family/your livelyhood, and what impact the passing of this ordinance will have on you. Please also include photos of you or your family members with your birds.

Please email letters and photos to [email protected]

Thank you!

Hi Folks,

If you have any experience with black spots on comb, or avian pox, could you check out my thread here:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=562743 ?

On another note, I'm so bummed. You may remember that I've only recently moved to southern California, and we were about to close on a house. Well, my husband just quit his new job, and now we have to back out. I really hate uncertainty.

Sorry about the house.

Looks like scabs to me. I'm no expert though.

I've got an 8 ft. long banquet table on CL for free. It's heavy, built sturdy. I can manage it by myself, although I wouldn't want to for very far. Thought I'd mention it here too just in case anyone was interested.

What kind of table Allison? Do you have a picture? I am interested in it for processing chickens. Would it be good for that?

Thanks!

Hi Cari,
It is heavy duty, has a formica top with a metal band all around the edge. I would put a piece of plastic over the top for processing chickens just because the liquids could get in between the edge of the table and the metal band. I got it from a local camp. I have two others so don't need this one and I'm tired of moving it from one side of the garage to the other. It folds flat. I didn't take a picture but I can tomorrow if you need to see it. I put it on CL & have someone interested but they want to see it too. I think it would be great for processing because it is pretty indestructible, already "not new", and sturdy, sturdy, sturdy!
