Hmmmm, what's that saying about only a poor sportsman blames failure on his equipment? Of course, if I had a $30,000 cello, I'd stop playing out of tune. Absolutely sure of it. Yup.

My plans for Christmas is to go out of my way to do nice things for other people and spend time with my mom and family.

What I want......Calm, peace, children giggling and getting along, the simple things in life. General awe and appreciation for the good things God has given all of us. I want everyone to know that God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, to die on the cross, that who ever believes in him will not perish, but have everlasting life in Heaven with God.

Oh yeah and all my bills paid, that would be good! LOL

Christmas will be quiet this year. DS will be spending it with the other half of his parenting team. He will be gone a week

. DH and I will go to town on Christmas eve and attend church with his parents. My plan is to take dinner in with us so she doesn't have to cook. Christmas day it will just be the 2 of us. We deicided to treat ourselves to a good steak and some seafood, so we will spend part of the day in the kitchen together. We are actually tossing around the idea of painting the livingroom that day too!!

Forgot to add what I want for Christmas. Really I have all I need, a warm place to call home and wonderful family around me. It would be nice if the Credit Card fairy would pay me a visit and my son could use a small healing miracle from God. I believe the miracle could happen any day.

Nope. She has told me many times I can go ahead and buy it, but I can't justify spending almost $3,000 when she usually spends a maximum of $5 on yarn at WalMart.

A guy can hope though. I just know if I had that Les Paul, I would play as good as Clapton, Page, Vaughan, etc...

No one will ever be as good a s Stevie Ray... never got to see him either. I would take a Gibson 335. In cherry sunburst.

dinner with my family.

what I want is not much just for dh to get well(heart problems and something wrong with legs and feet) I want him to have a day of rest without any pain. what I need is a financal miracle and for him to have a day of rest without any pain. that is all I want nothing more.

Have a Merry Christmas and may God bless each and everyone on here. I hope you all have a great Christmas

Would you settle for a red "Lucille"? DH is thinking of selling his to a good home. Dunno if I can talk him into it for real tho. We're going to be just us 3 for Christmas. Going to a friend for Christmas Eve, MIL coming the 27th for 10 days. Maybe DD and I will go to the Solstice interfaith celebration this Friday. I'd really like an Apple laptop, but that ain't gonna happen...

chistmas eve, i'll be working but if get off early enough i'd like the family to go to a church service together...christmas am-open presents at home with my family, maybe go over to the in-laws in late am, and back to work in the afternoon with my mom.

All of our children and grands will be here for Christmas. We start by making cookies Christmas Eve morning, then we'll have a Low Country Shrimp Boil for dinner...After dinner we open our presents and then we play with whatever we have gotten, watch Christmas movies or just chat/laugh --tell stories...Then the kids w/ children go home.... The others stay with us..On Christmas morning we all go to MIL house for lunch

I have asked for fruit trees, hens, berry picking baskets...

Merry Christmas Everyone...
