I have a beautiful sapphire olive egger that turned out to be a rooster. I assume he is a cross between a blue copper Marans (Blue plumage and feathers on legs) and crested cream Legbar (crest). He is not an aggressive rooster at all. While my other roosters have pecked me when I go to pick them up, he has not and has never shown signs of aggression.
He has started trying to mount my only pullet so even with his hormones rising he hasn’t been aggressive even when I picked the pullet up to take her away from him.
If you’re interested please let me know! I’d like him to go to a nice farm where he can have his own flock of hens.
Unfortunately, I cannot keep roosters at my current place and don’t want to annoy neighbors.
I’ll post pics when I get the chance.
