My hubbys parents house was cleaned out when they all left for their fathers funeral...
Some crack heads were watching the obits and knew when funerals were..and so they were robbing folks when they knew they'd be at the funerals... they did it many times before they were finally caught.
So ...yeah... it happens to people.
