Hi, welcome to BYC! :frow

I waited till plenty of people were able to see your post before asking... but can you tell me what a "satin" Silkie is? Seems like a fancy word for first generation Silkie crosses that are hard feathered. But I love learning new things! :pop

They are handsome boys. :love

Hi, I guess the old name would be a smooth sizzle and my original roo was a partridge. It's taken me about 5 years to get some other colors! Too many boys left over from spring/summer! Tks for asking

Partridge is a pretty color. :love

Smooth sizzle... is it a result of breeding a hard feathered bird to silkied bird? Guess I'm not clear what sizzle is... I thought that was a double frizzle... that essentially made the feathers brittle. Sorry for so many questions... it's a learning adventure. :wee
