I CONSIDER gum not candy. It's GUM!

This Halloween and every Halloween for the past 50 years, kids have had gum deposited in their bag. Not a one of them has ever said "Hey, that's not candy!"

Actually, peppermint is addictive. Ever try to stop at just one mentos? Whenever I buy Peppermint gum my mouth feels gross unless there's some cool, refreshing peppermint going on in there!

My kid never said that about raisins either.

Or about popcorn, or little bags of pretzels, or fruit...

Just asked my two kids that are in the next room, ages 8 and 11 ... hey kids, do you consider gum to be candy? Both said NO. I have smart kids.
