aprophet~ Thank you for that. I've been looking some stuff up online about preparing them, and they did say where they were located, but not how they were posistioned in those areas. I've been reading recipes online to, and they said exactly what you did about removing the fat and then parboiling it. I have to say, they are starting to sound pretty darn tasty.

AllCoop'dUp~ As far as having more of them around, I never even doubted that they were here in the first place. This is just the first one I have actually seen here and we spotlight a lot for fun, just to see what's hanging out. I have no doubt there are or will be more, but it may not be so bad if you could wiggle that pie crust recipe from your friend.

I have many racoons, and some just pass but some will get a smell of chickens and eat through roofs.. we finally resorted to killing when we found them in the coop, doors locked and the singles eaten off.. and the damage they do will stay in your memory for a long time. they are very cruel to their prey...I know they just need dinner, but not my babies!!

LOL, I wish I knew! I have been up and waiting, and when I'm not my husband is (he gets home around 1a.m. and stays up for awhile). He thinks I'm nuts now, BTW. LOL. I think my dogs keep scaring it when the go out for their last potty break at night. They have been barking their heads off just like the first night, at and in the same area. I know this is kind of wrong thinking but I kind of wish they would knock it off so that it would get brave again (I should be grateful, but now I am all about the stew

). I think I may just have to set the trap and give up on any visions of stalking my query, getting the jump on a worthy foe, outsmarting the prey, ect, ect.
