aprophet~ Thank you for that. I've been looking some stuff up online about preparing them, and they did say where they were located, but not how they were posistioned in those areas. I've been reading recipes online to, and they said exactly what you did about removing the fat and then parboiling it. I have to say, they are starting to sound pretty darn tasty.
AllCoop'dUp~ As far as having more of them around, I never even doubted that they were here in the first place. This is just the first one I have actually seen here and we spotlight a lot for fun, just to see what's hanging out. I have no doubt there are or will be more, but it may not be so bad if you could wiggle that pie crust recipe from your friend.
