Scammers working off of paypal name???

Report it to PayPal. It's bogus and I'm 100% sure if you were to click on the link, it would want all kinds of info.

I got one of those emails and called PP about it. They had me send it to them and confirmed it was bogus.

I've gotten trash like that a few times. I don't think the real PP would ask for you to email them information.
At least you didn't do what they wanted.

They had a few other forwards and let us all know they got that one. Yahoo has had a lot of scammers working lately too, so I forward those as well. You can even do it when you get bogus bank info. Just send it to them and they have a better chance of all the frauds that happen.

You can still forward the email. It is sitting in your deleted folder, unless you have emptied that. Then it would still be in the recycle bin. It can be a lot of work to make it really go away forever. lol

E-Bay also has the same way to report any scams. Their e-address for scams is "[email protected]".

We use to get that email quite a few times from both PayPal and EBay a couple of years ago. It is a scam. If you click the link it will bring you to a site that looks like PayPal but isn't. Then they will have your info. I never clicked the link, we use to report it. I forget the email address, you should be able to find it on PayPal's site.
