I did take pictures while I was there. I can post them if you'd like? I didn't even scratch the surface on the number of birds there, but I took pictures of a lot of (what I thought were) the prettiest ones.

That would be awesome! If no one else minds. Or you could pm some to me, I'd really love to see them. I think I missed last year also, but went in 2016. Unreal how huge that show is. If I remember right, they had over 6,000 birds registered this year.

It really is! I think they said 6,400 birds or so? They had to move the sales to the next barn over because there were so many birds entered.

Here's what I took while there!

Modern Games (they were all very curious First two are the same Birchen hen with gorgeous eyes, then a BBR (I think) and a White)




OEGBs (Blue Brassy Back, Blue, Blue Silver, two Blue Wheatens, and a Brassy Back male being goofy )




Brahmas (Blue Light and Buff)




D'Uccles (Silver Mille Fleur (I'm pretty sure I need one of those now! ) and Gold Neck)




LF Cochins (Black and frizzled Blue)




Call Ducks (Appleyard, Snowy, and Pied Gray)




And a bunch of miscellaneous breeds (Ayam Cemani, Blue Sumatra, Colored Dorking, and Red Shouldered Yokohama)




This guy was too much--frizzled Salmon Faverolles:

Thanks for sharing! They are all fabulous! I especially like the blue wheaten OEGB!
And that frizzle cochin, her feathers are not frayed at all... that's gorgeous.
I don't think I've ever seen a blue light brahma, very interesting. And the chubby cheeks on that call drake! OmG!!
The blue Sumatra is striking, fabulous lacing.

And a frizzled SF?? Wow!

I love seeing all the color varieties that we don't see very often.
