i feed my girls quacker oat, rice and sweet potato! they love it, but i dont know if its bad for them! Does wild bird corn count to feed the girls? Plus can i feed parkeet food to chickens??? Plus what food give them calcium?

Interesting ideas

I have seen alot of bird treat recipes that call for honey or crunchy peanut butter? Can chickens have these. Peanut butter is easy to make.

I found this in a book I have from the library, I may try this one, minus the meal worms. Not sure where to get them

1 lb. striped sunflower seed, hulls on
1 lb. BOSS hulls on
1 lb raw peanuts
1 lb dark raisins, dried blueberries, apples or other dried fruit chopped
1 lb cracked corn
1 small carton live meal worms

store in a rodent proof container in a cool area. Store meal worms in fridge according to package directions. Spread seed mixture on a tray and sprinkle with meal worms
