Screaming Chicken

Not sure what you mean by screaming but chickens can be very noisy. I had one that we referred to as " mouthy" . She just loved to carry on and on and on. My chickens always have food and water available so that wasn't her problem but might be what yours is carrying on about. Or......maybe she is just "mouthy". Good luck

Always have access to food and water. 5 of them are great, but the red hen, she screams so loud. I'm losing my mind haha!

Hi there! Pictures are great (not too necessary, I just love pics ).
She may be screaming the egg song. Or just singing (as my mom would say). My hens do it in the evenings. Not too uncommon.

I know their egg laying song, they also like to do it when a fox decides to jump on their coop. They always have access to food and water, perches, and lots of love.

I have 2 red hens, Harriet is the screamer and Henrietta use to scream but her sister now does it. A black copper, she's the family favourite, poor girl gets pecked, she's going bald. Can't remember what the other names are.

I provide feed and water 24/7..Can you darken the Coop more?

I've tried that, doesn't work

What breed is the screamer?
How many birds in the coop?
How big is the coop?

Their coop/cage is a good size, big enough for 6 chickens

Dimensions and pics would help.
Manufacturers of coops always exaggerate the number of birds that can be kept in them.

They have perches inside and they have the run of the garden. The thing is i start my full time job in 2 weeks, and i won't get enough time with them, which means they will be inside their coop all day. I don't want to be cruel, should i take them to a farm? I'm so unsure
